Justice at Field Day 2012

To ring in the new year, Justice had a show at Field Day in Sydney. According to one audience review, the setup doesn’t look as different as past shows; their stack of Marshall-branded amps actually light up this time and sync with the music. Judging from the clips I compiled, it looks like the arena rock version of Daft Punk’s signature pyramid, which is pretty cool…and necessary, since Daft Punk hasn’t done a concert in a few years; Justice will have to suffice (see also: 2 Many DJs.)

Music-wise, Justice remixes their tracks from “Audio, Video, Disco” — I actually like the live arrangements more than the album versions, but your miles may vary — as well as mashes them up with older tracks from “Cross.” You’ll hear it in the clip for “Canon” when “D.A.N.C.E.” shows up.
